Mark your calendars for the 2015 ACE Software Developer Session! Below, please find more details regarding the event and registration.
Topics of discussion for this session will include operational and technical changes related to the:
- November 1, 2015 deployment for mandatory use of ACE for all electronic cargo release and associated entry summary filings. All electronic data associated with the release of cargo, including PGA interactionas and their associated entry summaries, must be filed in ACE.
- The following PGAs will present information on their PGA Message Sets and ACE integration status: National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA); Environmental Protection Agency (EPA): Food Safety Inspection Service (FSIS); Food and Drug Administration (FDA): Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS): APHIS/Lacey Act; and National Marine and Fisheries Service (NMFS).
Please note that all CBP, PGA and Trade Participants must register to gain access to the USDA building.
FAQs
Are there ID requirements to enter the event?
Yes. All participants will be required to show a valid government-issued ID upon arrival. Note that pre-registration is required to enter the USDA building the day of the event. Movement within the USDA building will be restricted to the Jefferson Auditorium, cafeteria and first floor restrooms.
Are there local lunch options?
Attendees can purchase lunch and refreshments in the USDA cafeteria adjacent to the auditorium. Trade attendees will have access to the general cafeteria dining area. There are no eating facilities within close walking distance to the USDA building. Also note that no food or drink are permitted inside the Jefferson Auditorium.
How do I get to the USDA building? Is parking available?
Metro: The closest metro stop is the Smithsonian Metro Station (Orange, Silver and Blue lines). Use the Independence Ave metro exit. For more information, please visit www.wmata.com
Parking: A public parking garage is located at the intersection of 12th and D Streets.
